Peace, Love and a German Go-Cart 0

Smart LoveI hope everyone agrees that any Smart Car is as Anti-Jeff as possible but this one takes that to the extreme. Graphic design is usually about pleasing the client not expressing your own art ethos. I would rather not be seen driving this thing either. That being said, I kind of like the way it turned out. After all I need to be more in touch with rainbows… I’m having a little girl soon.

Progress 1

33 week ultrasoundHere’s an image that looks much more like a little baby squished between a bladder and intestines than Skeletor.
I’m sure she’s fine, but Kelly is pretty uncomfortable. Not too much longer though. At the time of posting this we have 5.5 weeks till the Aug 1 due date. We’re not planning on a C-Section or inducing labor… so we’ll see how punctual she is.

Ultrasound at 18 Weeks 3

18 week ultrasoundThis is visual produced by the feedback of 20khz penetrating Kelly’s belly. Yes, it’s an ultrasound photo. This one was our first at 18 weeks. I’ve labeled the key points. Sometimes these things are hard to make out.

I’m not sure but I bet a Dog would flip out in an ultrasound room. Since Dogs can hear higher frequencies than humans and Ultrasounds machines produce focused audio just above what human ears can register. Blah Blah Blah, nerd words.

Excellent Selection 2

Moving into the new house required a drink every now and again. Thankfully friends came by to help out with moving and painting… often bringing some beverages. I’ve tried to hold on to one of all each of my friend’s contributions. It’s an excellent selection. I had to take a photo of them before they started disappearing.

From this batch my recommendation is: Mac’s Blackwatch Cream Porter.

Home Owners 1.0 3

pre fam 2So we bought a house. Crazy. For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted 2 conflicting things in a dwelling. One: I’ve wanted to be right on the strip of some metro detroit downtown. Preferably in a loft above some quaint shop. Two: A Big Garage. Obviously these two don’t go together. I think our growing family removed the loft as a possibility. I had long feared that house prices would one day lead out out of downtown Rochester. We’ve found ourselves in Clawson.

If you’re not familiar… Clawson’s a little know suburb of Metro Detroit. Blink and you’ll miss it. Troy is to the North of us, Birmingham to the West, Madison Heights to the East and Royal Oak to the South. So far we love it.
